Description
This beer tastes how it would feel if some monks threw a party. Kind of sweet, a little mellow, and, for some weird reason, spiritually satisfying. A toffee nose is followed by a perfect blend of rich and malty that hits your taste buds with cherry, chocolate, and apple. Crack one open and party on, but be chill about it.

Had this for the first time last night- great beer, and not too heavy for summer enjoyment!

Great recipe. As a home brewer, I’d love to copy this one.

I usually go for the darker beers but this has plenty of flavor and I really enjoyed it.

I am drinking my second can of Abbey Ale and it’s really enjoyable. I randomly grabbed a six pack in Manhattan Kansas because the label design is interesting. My niece called it go-go gadget ninja monk beer. Martin City Brewing Company is worth another go.

This is my husband and I’s favorite beer to get on tap! We love all of the beers but this is always our go to! So smooth and not too heavy with a great flavor!
Bob Buccini –
Pretty nice beer although the Belgian yeast is lacking some of that distinctive Belgian flavor unfortunately.
